  2. My husband and I took the day off and went to the zoo (unfortunately, a lot of people had the same idea since it was the day before most schools started, and I think we were the only kid-less couple there).

  73. As a kid, I spent all day swimming in the pool. I jumped in from the moment I got out of bed, and my mom literally brought my breakfast and lunch pool-side for me to jump out and sit on the patio to eat so I could jump back in! I lived in the pool all summer, LOL!

    Now, I still enjoy going in the pool with my own kids. Summer flies by too quickly, and the cooler weather will be here before you know it. It's nice to enjoy it while it lasts.

  74. Start one last massive cleaning of the house, with school starting and working 2 jobs it will be hard to do a hold cleaning of house in the same day. Then start rearranging the closets packing away most of the summer clothes and start to bring out hoodies!

  82. The last days of my summer have not come yet, but I'll probably just be sitting around, being my lazy self, using the internet, watching TV, and reading. Some running will be incorporated as well, though. But, I'm actually very excited to start school, it is my first year of high school, after all. Thank you :]

  148. I like to let the kids just relax and tak it easy - not go to many places - we let them sleep downstairs and watch movies until about a week and a half before school starts - that seems to be an exciting enough event for them and helps us look a little nicer as parents.

  151. I'm actually from the Philippines, but what I do in the summer (March-May) is to go somewhere outside the country and explore. I love to travel, read a ton of books, go to the beach and take a dip, and go book shopping! :) Also, this is when I get to spend quality time with my family.
